History

Sierra Aero LLC was founded in early 2012 in the old Hangar #2 building. In 2013, the business expanded with the move into the larger Hangar #1. Sierra Aero was added to the list of Authorized Cirrus Service Centers in 2016.

In 2019 came the move into a new office in the new admin building in front of Hangar #1, which increased the shop floor square footage to better accommodate our customers. In 2020 we joined forces with Mountain Lion Aviation, a Cirrus Training Center and a charter operator (www.mountainlion.aero). The team has evolved and grown over the years and Sierra Aero is able service most locally based and transient single engine piston aircraft.

Sierra Aero LLC holds a FAA Limited Repair Station Certification, CRS#: 5IER221D, for avionics work.
